The LCARS Engineering Database is a compendium of information regarding faster than light travel, as well as various other technologies currently used by the Federation and Starfleet. Various propulsion systems are described, including warp drive, quantum slipstream, transwarp, and others.

The database includes descriptions of how transporters, holographic technology, and other various technologies employed on starships operate. Hundreds of pages worth of information will be condensed down to a few dozen, so they are very concise descriptions of how these technologies work.
